A garden club member in good-standing is required to attend four meetings (parties count) and complete two hours of community service.

Propagation Basics with a Tennessee Master Gardener
Get ready to breed plants! After this introduction to plant babies, you'll never buy a houseplant again. Carol Mathews of the Tennessee Master Gardeners will teach us the art of propagation (breeding plants by cuttings) as well as which plants are easiest to grow at home. Each attendee will leave with a cutting of their own to grow and multiply!

The French word terroir refers to the complete natural environment in which a particular plant grows, encompassing factors such as the soil type, aspect and climate. For no agricultural product is the concept of terroir more important than for wine.

Join us on a walking tour of one of Lookout Mountain's most iconic sites: Rock City Gardens. Along this guided walk, Lori Martinez, Rock City's garden manager, will share the history of the property, the vision of the garden's founder, Frieda Carter, and how the gardens have evolved as Rock City continues to be one of America's most popular tourism destinations.
